Iran, kyrgyzistan Sign Bilateral Trade Agreement

TEHRAN, June 24 (Mehr News Agency) -- The signing of the agreement between the Islamic republic of Iran and Kyrgyz Republic is expected to raise bilateral trade level, by Iranian businessmen’s increased investment in Kyrgyzistan’s free trade zones.

The volume of trade between the two nations is low at present. Considering that Kyrgyz Republic is already a member of the WTO, the agreement would pave the way for similar criteria of Iranian businessmen participating in the republic’s markets.

Kyrgyz Prime Minister underlined his country’s interest in expanding economic ties with Iran and said, “About 70 different economic sectors are o the agenda which include agriculture, road construction, animal husbandry, tourism, and training.”
